The 2009 Class Gift

The Class of 2009 is building on a growing tradition at our School, by giving something back through a joint class gift .

Our time at MBS has seen us gain new skills and networks that are helping us achieve more for ourselves, and the organisations we work for.  We want to help others benefit from a life-changing education and need your support to make the 2009 Class Gift a reality.  The 2009 Class Gift aims to support two great projects:

  • The Student Leadership Lunch
  • Scholarships for selected not-for-profit leaders

The Student Leadership Lunch

There are many fantastic initiatives led by MBS students each year, yet few of these are formally rewarded.  The lunch will bring together all winners and the top nominees for the School’s end of year prizes and awards, the Dean and selected faculty, and an invited speaker.  We aim to fund this event for at least 3 years, with the hope that it will become a highlight of the MBS calendar for student leaders.

Scholarships for selected not-for-profit leaders

Help ensure the not-for-profit community has access to great business education and build a more diverse classroom for everyone to benefit from, which will strengthen the future of our School and our degrees.  We’re aiming to support a scholarship which allows a not-for-profit leader to undertake, at the very least, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, or (depending on your generosity), a full MBA.  As a Class we will input into the Scholarship selection process, to ensure the most outstanding and worthy candidate/s is chosen. The more we give, the greater the scholarship we can offer.

We’re asking you to join us and other classmates in making your contribution to the 2009 Class Gift.  We will ensure you’re kept up-to-date with its progress and let you know about how our support is making a difference.

We want every single 2009 classmate to make a contribution – the first time this will have happened in the history of the School.  So make your gift today and stay tuned to networking events via the MBS Graduating Class of 2009 Facebook page .

Thanks for your support!
