Inaugural Australian Net Impact Conference - 9 October 2009
Co-hosted by AGSM and Melbourne Business School. The inaugural Australian Net Impact Conference highlighted the positive steps that emerging business leaders are taking to create a better future. Four Australian universities were represented, underscoring Australian student commitment to social and environmental sustainability. More than 100 delegates gathered to listen to local and international speakers discuss topics ranging from social enterprise to clean technologies.
Social Enterprise World Forum Research Roundtable - 6 October 2009
Co-hosted by the Centre for Social Impact, Social Ventures Australia and Social Traders. Discussion on applied research into social enterprise and social entrepreneurship: what is happening in this area, what the gaps are, where Australian research could focus and where it could link with international comparative research. The roundtable was chaired by Associate Professor Cheryl Kernot, Director of Social Enterprise at the Centre for Social Impact.
