A flexible program
The average part-time study load is two subjects a term, with most part-time students completing the course in about three years. However, the School recognises the demands that work and personal life place on part-time students. This means that students may elect to take a lighter study load (of one subject) in a particular term or may wish to take a term away from study. Similarly, part-time students may increase their study load at any time providing there are suitable extra subjects being taught in a particular term.
In addition, students may complete the program more quickly, by transferring to the full-time program. Part-time MBA students are eligible to transfer to the full-time program in January and September, providing that all core subjects have been completed. However, the School can sometimes accommodate other transfer points, to be determined on an individual basis.
Students may discuss a variation in study load either prior to application or at any time during the program, with the Student Services Course Adviser.
