Rethinking employee retention

While organisations expend a tremendous amount of effort attempting to retain talent, in fact employee mobility is increasing not decreasing. This lecture includes the reasons why organisations should reframe employee retention to be an issue of 'relationship management'. Rather than viewing employee mobility as a win or lose proposition, organisational leaders should instead view mobility, if strategically managed, as a potential source of valuable economic and intellectual exchange.
