KEYNOTE SPEAKER
John Hartigan
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, News Limited

“A journalist is what I am, who I am and what I will always be”. Winner of the 2008 Walkley Journalism Leadership Award, John Hartigan was appointed CEO of News Limited in 2000 and Chairman and CEO in 2005. Beginning as a cadet reporter, John has worked at The Sun in London, the New York Post and Sydney’s Daily Telegraph. Outside of his corporate responsibilities, he is a director of The Bradman Foundation, the American Australian Association and the NSW Wine Industry Council, and was part of the steering committee of the 2020 Summit.
