Philosophy for Business - Associate Professor John Armstrong
Associate Professor John Armstrong presents ‘Philosophy for Business’
In their first event for 2008 the Brisbane Alumni Chapter of Melbourne Business School is excited to join with the University of Melbourne, Economics and Commerce Faculty for a Lifelong Learning breakfast with internationally acclaimed author and academic Associate Professor John Armstrong.
Join Associate Professor Armstrong in a fascinating discussion on ‘Philosophy for business’ at this Brisbane Alumni Chapter breakfast on Friday 14 March.
“Doing business” is arguably more complex now than at any point since Industrialization, and traditional ways of doing business are evolving rapidly. Today we require leadership that is intellectually rigorous, imaginative, nimble and courageous across business, government and community sectors.
Associate Professor Armstrong’s discussion will explore the philosophical dimensions available to business under two themes: Philosophy and Freedom of Mind and Philosophy and intangibles.

Time: 7.00 for 7.15 am - 9.00 am
