Frontline Management in Action Program
For
Whilst the program is targeted at frontline managers with varying degrees of experience, it is a valuable development opportunity for people who are being groomed for a people management position.
Focus
In today's business environment, the effectiveness of frontline managers is determined by their ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve organisational results. Relying less on their technical skills, their ability to interact with people at many levels in the organisation becomes the focus. Ensuring frontline managers have the necessary skills and confidence to get the best out of their employees is crucial.
The program enables participants to develop key skills to achieve this outcome. Key topics include communication, coaching, team development, leadership, change management, performance management, negotiation and problem solving.
At the same time, participants continue in their workplace role and have the opportunity to directly apply the skills they gain.
Benefits
Learn from a comprehensive list of workshop topics that will heighten your career prospects and broaden your management scope to become a better people manager who inspires and empowers others. You will learn from peers and other frontline managers who can serve as role models for development.
Through flexible program delivery you can grow your career and advance your management expertise at your own pace. Open delivery programs can be based on the Business Services Training Package (BSTP) competency which results in either a nationally recognised Diploma or Certificate of Business (Frontline Management).
Programs can be tailored to meet specific operational and strategic requirements or can provide development for defined groups by placing staff on an open program with a number of organisations participating. Facilitated throughout Australia and internationally, the program will address both local and multinational frontline manager issues while offering an excellent return on investment through the direct application of action learning in the workplace.
Format
Format will vary as our workshops provide intensive training on a wide range of topics directly relevant to your frontline managers and team leaders.
The workshops are complemented by a series of workbooks selected in consultation with you.
