Michael Luscombe shares his supermarket success
Michael Luscombe, CEO of Woolworths and MBS alumnus (AMP 1996), began his leadership journey at the check-out of a suburban Safeway and continued to the very top of one of the country's largest retailers, Woolworths Limited.

Speaking at an APC Leadership Series breakfast for students and alumni on July 4, Mr Luscombe told of the rewards and challenges involved in managing a retail giant of 3000 stores and 180,000 employees. He encouraged the audience to consider a career in retail, which had many students lining up for business cards after the presentation.
