Maurizio Floris

Maurizio’s main professional interests lie in strategy, strategic change, organisation development, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Prior to joining the Mt Eliza Centre for Executive Education at Melbourne Business School, Maurizio worked in industry for 18 years.  His key roles include, General Manager with Chubb (a division of United Technologies Corporation), CEO of Impart Corporation (an Oracle/ university joint venture) and Strategy Consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). During that period Maurizio led two successful start-up businesses.

Maurizio has extensive multicultural and international experience, having  worked in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia . He speaks five  languages.

His  broad  industry experience  has included sectors as diverse as  financial services, utilities,  fast moving consumer goods,  publishing, government, IT, agribusiness and international development.

His previous clients  have  include d  ATO, ABS, Dept artment  of Defence, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Singapore Navy, Department of Treasury, Vodafone, Gillette, Energy Australia, United Energy, LexisNexis (Reed-Elsevier), CCH (Wolters-Kluwer), Lion Nathan, St George Bank, AGC, AMP, RailCorp, Securities Institute, Qantas, Cargill, Royal Tropical Institute, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Netherlands) and the Worldwide Fund for Nature.

Maurizio is a member of AHRI, AITD and AIM.
